I’m Thomas N. Madoki, a Belgian-Congolese photographer based in Brussels.

Raised in a multicultural environment, my work is shaped by questions of identity, belonging, and the way people move through the spaces they inhabit. Before photography, I followed a different path as a professional basketball player and an engineer. That background still influences the way I observe, structure, and understand the world.

Through photography, I document everyday life as it unfolds. My work often explores urban spaces, where stories emerge in fragments, somewhere between the visible and the overlooked.

I see photography as a way to engage with reality: to pay attention, to question, and to build narratives rooted in the present.
